I gave this place one star so I could write a post I should've paid the extra money for better service I guess. I called the other day to set my appointment for my 2 cats told them I wanted a 3 year rabies. They also told me I didn't need to pay for tags. So I was going in expecting to be done for 3 years and not have to get tags again because they don't wear them. Lol. I go in fill out a form (no customer serivce skills at all) then I get seen. Shots were quick and painless. Go out to pay and tells me my total can't even count my change correctly and gives me tags and that's when I was confused. I'm like why do I have these she said you need them they are required by law and I was like whoever I talked to the other day said I didn't need them. She said well idk who you talked to. I then looked at the paper and it said 1 year rabies. I said did I get the 1 year or 3 year rabies today she said 1 year. I then explained I told the lady when I made my appointment I wanted a 3 year. She then told me I was supposedd to tell her when I got there. Then was lietrally sitting there arguing with me about it all and the other lady was like well you can return your tags. And I'm thinking you just told me to return my tags that you said are required by law to have. She never apologized for the inconvenience or anything. And I told them I have never treated any customer like that yeah I'm young but I know what customer service is and someone her age definitely should. She then said she sugguested I leave like I was a danger to the place. People like that shouldn't be in a place of buisness it's just sad really. You don't tell customers they are wrong for not knowing and get mad when they tell you you all need to be on the same page. ldk that place is cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. I care for my animals and if you do too I would suggest you don't bring them around this negative place...
I cannot say enough good things about this veterinary clinic! Scheduling appointments over the phone could not be any easier. When you arrive, you are always seen promptly at the time of your appointment and never made to wait an excessive amount of time (if, like me, you have a large dog who turns into a quivering, crying baby as soon as you walk in the door and he realizes he is going to get shots, this is a LIFESAVER). The rates for routine care and preventatives are fair and affordable. Every member of the staff is helpful, kind, and very knowledgeable. These people obviously love what they do and it definitely shows.
If I could give less than one star I would. don't bring your pet here for an emergency they have antiquated technology and can't diagnosis accurately because they refuse to modernize and rather stay old school. your pet will most certainly die because of the laid back attitude of "they don't look that sick" regardless of the symptoms.
Have been going here for over 15 years. It is an amazing place to take your pets!
I would recommend West Clay Animal hospital to everyone. They have taken excellent care of our dogs. They performed surgery and were very thorough and caring. If you want fancy smancy offices this is not the place for you. If you want loving, caring individuals to take care of your pets this IS the most place for you and your furry family.
