My Husband and I went to Midtown Market this afternoon. We went in after receiving their sale add in our mailbox, which we always make a point to review. Today they were touting a 3 day meat sale. Let me tell you this, all meats are fresh and if you want a specific cut of meat, they're happy to do it. Their deli and bakery has fresh items made daily and if you're in a hurry, they also have ready made fried chicken, fish, and sides!! I always prefer to patronize a local family market over the big stores like Walmart. I never buy any meat at Walmart, especially when I can get fresh cuts!! People are extremely friendly that work there. They have a fantastic produce department. If you get caught in a long line at the register it's my opinion that it's because most of the time those long lines don't exist and they don't want to have people on the clock for no reason. But there are time frames, just like the highways have a rush hour, when you can experience a long line.
I don't live in the St. Charles area, I happened upon this store while shopping for my client, who lives nearby, and I absolutely love it. Great meat choices, and the ready to eat entrees are awesome for him and me, I can get several and not have to cook full meals and waste food. Win win!
Great experience. It's so nice to have a well run local grocery store. I was able to get all the items on my list, find good local produce (peaches) and got help when I couldn't find the pizza sauce. This is such a great store. What a much better experience and quality produce than the big box stores.
