I had a very unpleasant visit to this CVS store today, Christmas Day. I went in to purchase some items around 8 PM. I waited at the counter for a few minutes waiting on a sales associate. When I saw her walking up I turned, smiled, and offered a warm "Merry Christmas". The sales associate, Kathy, hardly turned her lips up in to a smile as she walked behind the counter. She was cold, and obviously annoyed to have to run my transaction on Christmas Day. She didn't offer a smile, or any sort of greeting. After purchasing the items I needed to return them, and she might as well have slammed her hands down in annoyance. She rolled her eyes and stated in a gruff manner, "It's going to have to go back on the card you just used." I then told her I reviewed the CVS return policy, and debit transactions can be returned as cash, as that was what I needed. She didn't offer any further words. Simply did the return in an aggressive manner, which made me highly uncomfortable. Customer service at any retail store should be a 1st priority. Unfortunately, that was not the case with this employee.
The staff at the pharmacy have been great every time I've gone. Incredibly personable and helpful. I will ONLY go to them for my prescriptions!
